It is relatively hard for customers to find these days and customers are seeking stores that carry it. Once you are known for having it in your store, you will do very well.

      • Enough that customers can see that you are “in the business” which equates to a minimum of about 10 pieces. A special order only option for christening apparel in your store has proven a failure by all who have attempted such. If you are not in the business, the customer will go somewhere else.

      • Everything is in stock and ready to ship. Customers generally do not want to wait for make-to-order so we can’t either.

 

    • I live in a conservative area, can I sell expensive items in my store?
      • Infant baptisms and christenings are special occasions, once-in-a-lifetime events. While not every customer has a large budget, there are many who seek for special items and are willing to spend what is required for this special occasion. They will usually want all the accessories too. Do not sell yourself and your store short by failing to understand this fact. If you only carry inexpensive goods, then that is the customer you will attract.
